The Owlet Smart Sock 3 is the first baby monitor that records your baby's oxygen levels and heart rate while they are asleep. It uses pulse oximetry, which has been shown to be effective in tracking sleep, oxygen levels, and heart rate. It's the same technology you may have come to know if you've ever had your blood oxygen measured on your finger in the hospital.
Quick installation via app – easy use via mobile device
Setting up the Owlet is very easy. All you have to do is download the iOS or Android app on your smartphone or tablet. Then you will be guided through the installation process in a few steps and the Owlet base will be connected to your WiFi network (required for the Owlet app to work).
During the setup in the app, parents can set high and low ranges for heart rate and oxygen levels. If your baby's oxygen and heart rate stay within these ranges, the base station will glow with a green light. If one of these values ​​is outside a pre-set range, a notification is sent to the base, your smartphone or your tablet.
